Life Changes - New Baby

We’ve worked in lots of nurseries, bedrooms and playrooms over the years.  It’s a struggle often for new families to cope with babies and all the equipment, new clothes and hand me downs, presents and toys which suddenly accumulate.

Initially all the gifts and clothes need to be organised into age appropriate order to ensure they are all used at the right time.  There is nothing more disappointing than finding a beautiful babygrow, when the baby has grown too big to fit into it.  The same goes with toys and equipment, organisation means always being able to access things at the right time.

We’re experienced at implementing easy to use and maintain storage systems.

Our Cot Story

The Restmor cot pictured was bought for me by Sheila and our Mum in Bainbridge, Newcastle (part of the John Lewis Partnership, and very sadly no more).  It’s just a classic and has stood the test of time.  After me, it was passed to Sheila for her own two boys, then to me again for my 3 children.  It spent some time in Southampton with our family friends for their third daughter and now it’s back in London for Sheila’s first granddaughter.  With updated equipment being introduced all the time together with lack of space for many,  it’s usually best  to pass on equipment so it can be used and enjoyed by another family, but there are exceptions and in this case (with new mattresses used) we’re very happy we held on to our cot.  Where will it go next?!
